Use of Force & Self-Defense
Proportionate response — lawful, measured, and always the last resort.
Physical intervention is a last resort — but when it is needed, it must be correct. This module trains Nikita Industrial Securities Agency officers in the legal, proportionate use of force and in the self-defense techniques that keep them safe while restraining a situation.
What The Module Covers
- The legal basis for a guard's use of force — reasonable, proportionate, documented
- The escalation ladder: presence, verbal control, physical intervention, withdrawal
- Basic self-defense: blocks, releases from grabs, and safe disengagement
- Restraint and escorting techniques that avoid injury
- De-escalation first — talking a situation down before hands are ever raised
- Post-incident duties: reporting, evidence, and medical attention
Force Is The Last Tool
Our doctrine is simple: the best guard wins without fighting. Physical skills exist to protect people when all other options are exhausted — and every use is logged and reviewed.
