- Housekeeping hazards — waste build-up, blocked exits, storage against electrical panels
- Electrical checks — overloaded sockets, damaged cables, hot panels, illegal connections
- Hot work watch — welding and cutting areas, spark control, and post-work monitoring
- Flammable storage — segregation, distance rules, and no-smoking enforcement
- Equipment readiness — extinguisher pressure and seals, alarm panels, hydrant access, exit signage
- Reporting defects and following up until they are fixed
